Balsamic & Sesame Scapes

The ultimate spring vegetable a terrific way to enhance the flavour! 

½ lb (227g) scapes

2 tsp. (10ml) olive oil

½ tsp (2ml) sesame oil

2 tsp. (10ml) balsamic vinegar 

1 tsp. (5ml) sesame seeds

 sea salt & fresh ground pepper 

Whisk together the vinegar, oils, seeds, salt and pepper. 

Bush over the scapes. BBQ over medium-hot coals for about three to five minutes, keep turning the scapes as they cook. Serves two.
